Pulled the top cover off the tranny to get the high/low rail loose, which I did. Now for the bad news. 1. What the I.T. Manual calls the input gear has 3 teeth half knock off. Plus another tranny gear (top middle) has 3 or 4 teeth knonked off. 2. On the magnetic drain plug I found 3 small neddle bearing (.100). Where in the world did these little boogers come from? The needle bearings are from inside one of the gears or possibly the top shaft that drives the PTO in the front of the tranny. You'll find where they go when it comes time for disassembly. If you need parts, give Farmersville equipment a call. They have several of these tractors disassembled, cleaned and shelved, and should have the parts you are going to need. They can be reached at 715-354-2150. |
