Super 88 gas governor adjustment?

The tractor is not producing as much power as it should. Any info would be greatly appreciated! I need to replace or clean the rubber hoses on the air cleaner so the air has a smooth path. I think the problem with the gov. is that the motor pulls down too far before the gov. give the motor more fuel.   Tom Anderson Posted on Sunday, April 9, 2006 - 9:11 am:    I always just used straight 30w oil in the air cleaner, like I used in my crankcase, only because one of the old timers told me to. I hope it was correct. Your problem may still be your govenor, which I know nothing about. I am just reviewing some of the problems I had in the past with my fuel delivery system. Tom Anderson
