I need help adjusting the governor. I seems that it is slow to give the motor fuel. The tractor is not producing as much power as it should.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Until someone smarter than me gets around to answering you, have you checked to make sure that your air cleaner is clean and unrestricted and that you fuel sediment bowl is clean. Is your gas relatively fresh ?

the gas should be clean. What type of oil should i run in the air cleaner?
I need to replace or clean the rubber hoses on the air cleaner so the air has a smooth path.

I think the problem with the gov. is that the motor pulls down too far before the gov. give the motor more fuel.

I always just used straight 30w oil in the air cleaner, like I used in my crankcase, only because one of the old timers told me to. I hope it was correct. Your problem may still be your govenor, which I know nothing about. I am just reviewing some of the problems I had in the past with my fuel delivery system.
