I have a 1650with the waukeshaw engine. the crank has a buggered up key way on the front where the pully wheel attaches. I understand this is a 4k rebuild to tear the engine down, rework the keyway and rebuild with new sleeves, bearings, etc. most other sytems (hydraulic, steering brakes)need repair and I am looking at 7k for the total rehab. are there any sources for an engine to replace my existing power unit to lower the cost? Is this terminal and most efficiently placed to rest and replace with another tractor? |
