My name is Kevin Cahoon and I am selling a vintage green Oliver Tractor-row crop 180220E IL 100B.....not sure if it runs, but looks good. I am also selling a Massey R15 engine # F400A 418M 2-6....again, not sure if it runs, but it looks good. Thank you so much...Kevin Cahoon

Kevin: The numbers you have given are casting numbers for engine blocks. The Massey is some form of a F-400 series Continental. Massey used some form of a 4 cylinder F model in at least 5 different models of tractors that I can think of. Look along side the frame close to where the front frame and transmission case bolt up for an oval tag which would have the model and serial number of the tractor. Look on both sides as some models were on the left side and some on the right side. The models that come to my mine include: 101 Junior, 81, 20, 22 & 30 A 1L-100B Oliver block would be in an early Super 55 or 66 tractor. Since you said it was a rowcrop it should be a Super 66. If the tractor has a hydraulic unit or a power lift look between this component and the dash for a serial number tag. There will be two lines on this tag. The top one is the specification number the bottom one the serial number. No doubdt the last 3 number of the serial number will be 604 or 606 if I remember correctly.
