I bought a Oliver a few years ago and the lady I got it from said it was a 1950 Super 55. Well after reading much of the info provided here I know they didnt make them until 54. My spec # is 25-0043 and the serial # is 50 901-518. It is equipped with a back hoe. I have pictures but dont know how to show them.

You can put anything you want where it says description, but everything else has to be the same. It will ask you for the location of the picture on your computer after you click on the post this message button.

Or you can email the picture to me and I'll add it for you.

Thanks Chris, it only took a computer illiterate guy like me twice to get it right. Jeff

Wow. that's a big backhoe for a 55. I'm surprised it doesn't break the frame in half.

Yeah she tends to do wheelies from time to time especially going up hills. Fortunately I can steer with the brakes. No problems with the frame though, I have broken both front tires off on two different occasions, when I forget to put the bucket down and land on my tires after breaking tree roots and such. Its done lots of work and I am pretty proud of her.
