I'm having problems with the 3pt hitch on my 550. The lift arms keep drifting down and then jumping back up. When I put on a post hole auger on everything started jumping. The hydraulic cutout would engage and be countered by the top link spring.

Should I be looking for a hydraulic leak, do I have a pressure relief problem, or something else?

THERE IS A LEVER RIGHT UNDER YOUR SEAT THAT MAKES THE HYDRAULICS EITHER STAY DOWN OR "FLOAT". I THINK YOUR LEVER NEEDS TO BE DOWN.

I HOPE THIS IS A RESOLUTION. AT LEAST IT IS CHEAP AND EASY TO TRY.

LET US KNOW IF IT WORKS.

If your lift arms settle you have an internal leak such as the O-ring on the lift piston.
