It is a very late Super 55. For the 1957 model year many improvements were made to the Super 55 models including changes in the hydraulic system, 12 volt start for the gas models changesin the transmission, etc. Your tractor is made late in 57 or maybe in early 58. The 550 model which is the replacement for the Super 55 was introduced in the spring of 58. Your tractor was made shortly before they were introduced. The Super 55 you are looking at is a good little tractor and has very good resale value. Questions? |
