I am struggling to get this to you. My problem is the throttle linkage/governor on this tractor. About a year ago while doing the restoration I struggled to set up the throttle linkage to the governor. I had a hard time getting proper idle RPM and full throttle RPM (1750). The other day I found the throttle would now go well over the max RPM at low throttle setting. I reset the inline spring back to full-long . still the same problem any ideas DENNIS the MENANCE

You are probably going to have to take the governor off the front of the engine. Either the bushing that goes behind the gear is bad, or the front bearing is bad, or something is loose.

When you remove it, be careful of parts that may be loose in there, they might want to fall into the oil pan.
