We have a 1850 with a semi stuck motor we picked up at auction for next to nothing with a 354 perkins. I thought I seen somewhere that 2-105's had same motor. What do you think the cost might be to find a salvage manifold and turbo and boost the horseys on the 1850. Know we would need to have pump reset, was also going to see what it would take to drop the 2 speed power shift out and put in the spare three speed that we have. |

The perkins in the 2-105 is not the same internally as the 1850. In fact the Turboed 2-105 early engine is different than the last 2-105. You need to understand the different versions of a 354 perkins. |

Well shot that ideal square in the butt. Was just a thought. How far could the 354 in the 1850 be tweaked up untill it became to unreliable? |
