I need to know what the spring that connects the clutch pedal and pto/transmission linkage is called and where I can find one..my tractor is stuck in 1st gear and the broken spring is all I can find wrong with it....it was running alright as usual when I shut it off..left it in gear...climbed back on a couple days later pushed down on the clutch to start it would not disengage transmission ...Doc | ||

Try visiting www.ricksagriparts.com and give them a call. They seem to have quite a few parts for those tractors. But from what I can see on the parts breakdown, the spring just returns the pedal to the up position. I would look for disconnected linkage between the pedal and where it hooks to the shaft that goes into the bell housing. If that's all hooked up, it could be something as simple as the clutch disc has stuck to the flywheel. If this isn't the problem, then something has probably happened to the throw out bearing or clutch assembly that is going to require the tractor to be split. |
