I recently purchased a 107 rake. Great shape - lube the chain, replaced a few teeth & raked my 1st cutting - no sweat! I have a few questions, for anyone who knows a thing or two about these rakes: 1) what is the proper lube in the upper & lower gearboxes? 90w gear lube? 2) I installed standard NI teeth and some rubber teeth as an experiment. Has anyone found a good replacement/upgrade for the teeth? 3) this rake appears to have been set up for hydraulic lift, but I am not totally sure of that. Are there any manuals out there? Thanks Scott Baumann |

90w will work fine for the gear boxes. Try www.olivertractormanuals.org for a manual for that rake. I have seen a couple for sale on eBay in the past, so you might want to watch there as well. |
