770 hydralics, problem is when remote cylinders, are fully extended or retracted, to the point where bypass kicks, the cylinder locks, and have to disconnet the hoses, and release pressure. any ideas on what is causing that??

First thing I would look into is the couplers. They can go bad, and can do what you are describing.
