I'd like to know whether it was a common after purchase conversion to replace the seemingly fragile fiberglass grill with the older metal grill. Suggestions/comments, please! 2nd, where would be a good source for rear tires ... they're apparently a weird size ~ 13.6 X 28? | ||

I haven't heard of anybody going from the fiberglass to the metal grille. But it would be an easy switch, so it would be a definite possibility. Most collectors want the fiberglass grille, but I can see why a person would want the metal one if it was a working tractor. Try www.millertire.com , they specialize in tire for older tractors. My sister has that size of tire on her 550, an I can tell you now, they aren't cheap no matter where you go. |
