Do you know what model it is? It could one of several. Do you have a serial number for this Oliver Cletrac? Look around the engine for a plate with the serial number on it. With this information, I can give you a lot more info. |

I'm not sure of the seriel no. I'll have my husband look for it. I do know however that it is a HG-68, whatever that means. it is also green with yellow trim. I don't know if this helps. Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated |

The serial number for an HG should be on the right side of the flywheel bellhousing. (right side when you are sitting in the operators seat). I think your HG may be newer than you think if it has green paint. I thought HG's were the Cletrac yellow until Oliver bought them out in 1944. But I am not very well versed in Cletrac. After Oliver aquired them they were painted green until after they changed the model name to OC-3. They are powered by a Hercules 4 cylinder, flat head engine. If anybody else has more info, or any corrections to what i have posted, please feel free to ad to this. You might want to check out http://www.cletrac.org . They have a discussion board too and the people there know more about Cletracs than I do. Another site to look at is http://www.oliverinformation.com and click on the company history link to learn a little more about the Cletrac company and how it fits into the Oliver line up. |

I just added pictures from the winter show in Auburn to the photos section yesterday. Click on the photos icon in the menu and then click on the link for the Auburn show. There is a picture of an Oliver HG in green paint and a Cletrac HG in the yellow-orange paint. |

YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT THE MODEL YEAR I THINK. SOMEWHERE I FOUND A 1950 HG68. ACCORDING TO MY HUSBAND IT LOOKS JUST LIKE WHAT THIS ON USED TO. I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP. MAYBE WE'LL GET IT GOING SOME DAY SOON. IF WE DO I'LL LET YOU KNOW. MAYBE EVEN SEND YOU A PICTURE. AGAIN THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. |
