Can someone teel me how the grill strip should be painted? I have seen it red with green edges and yellow letters and stripes. I have also seen it the latter way, but without the green edges. Should the grooves in the rad cap cover be painted red? |

Geoff, I have seen all sorts of different variations. There may have been changes during production, but here's how we painted ours. I have pictures somewhere of it in it's original paint, and we repainted everything back to the way it was. We are also the original owners of this 60, so I know it was never repainted before Dad and I did it. |

How did you paint the yellow letters on "Oliver", just take a small brush and do it carefully?? Looks good. |

That is exactly what we did. We painted the whole thing green, then hand painted the red and then the yellow. Slow and steady wins the race!! Thanks for the compliment! |
