I have an Oliver 525 Combine with a soybean head that is in extraordinary cosmetic condition and very good mechanical condition. Does anyone know of a museum that could use this combine? |

There are two that I can think of right off. The Floyd County Museum in Charles City, Iowa, and The Dumont Museum in Sigourney, Iowa. Floyd County is where most of the Oliver tractors were made. Contact Mary Ann Townsend at hpocacc@fiai.net. The Dumont Museum has a web page at http://www.angelfire.com/biz5/dumont/ where you can find out more about them. I believe the Dumont Museum might be a better bet, just because they have so much more room for large equipment like a combine. And thank you for wanting to preserve a piece of the Oliver history. |
