I HAVE PURCHASED A 20 HART PARR ON ORIGINAL BASE WITH THE ORIGINAL CLUTCH PULLY. IT IS #60025. I WOULD LIKE ANY INFO I CAN GET ON THIS ENGINE IT CAME OUT OF A BIRCH DISTILLARY PLANT IN BARTO PA. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ORIGINAL COLOR FOR THE ENGINE. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS A STARTING CRANK AVAILABLE I AM MISSING THAT. I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE SIZE OF THE KERO AND GAS TANKS SO I CAN HAVE NEW ONES MADE. THIS ENGINE DID NOT HAVE A RADIATOR, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO PUT ONE ON IF I CAN FIND ONE. THIS ENGINE HAS NOT RUN IN 40+ YEARS. I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP I CAN GET ON THIS ENGINE. Carl, I don't have much knowledge in the area of Hart-Parrs. But I can point you in the direction of those that do. Check out http://www.geocities.com/hartparrtractors/ for some great Hart-Parr information. Another site to check out is http://www.oliverinformation.com and click on paint codes. Also look at the magazine section of that site. It is a great publication, and there's info on how to join the Hart-Parr Oliver Collectors Association. According to my serial number book, you engine was made in 1921. Membership to the Oliver Gang is $5 a year, and includes 3 newsletters a year.
