Howdy all, I just brought home an Oliver 18-36, sn 90050. According to the guy I bought it from it is a model I 18-36 but I can not find an 'I' anywhere on the serial number tag. What features would make it an "I"?? I am also going to be in great need of parts for this thing as the engine is stuck.. It is fairly complete but someone has 'borrowed' a lot of the nuts and bolts off of it. Anyhow, I am a John Deere escapee now branching out into bigger and better things (Oliver Hart Parr, Caterpillar, Bucyrus Erie..) so any help and/or advice would be welcomed and appreciated.. I will try to get some pics posted of it soon. Chris |

Congratulations on your purchase. I personally am not very knowledgeable on the Hart-Parrs. But here is a web site that you may want to check out. http://www.geocities.com/hartparrtractors/ It was created by Dave Preuhs of Le Center, Minnesota. It's not complete, but what is there is great! And it also has his email address. You might try dropping him a line with your questions. I'm not sure how often Dave checks out this site, but maybe he'll see it and repsond. Maybe someone else will have the answer too. Hope this helps. |
