Brent, I had one of these, it was a good machine. I bought it used, and it had been "Stuckle-ized", that is all the modifications reccomended by Ray Stuckle in his book. While combining in the same wheat field as a friends L2 Gleaner and both of us running 15 ft heads I could go 1 MPH faster. The biggest problem was keeping the gas tanks full, boy did it like fuel!

Ian, thanks for the response. any idea where i can find that book you mentioned by Ray Stuckle? i really do enjoy operating that machine. the looks and questions i get are always interesting. everyone automatically thinks it's a John Deere because it's green. and yes, it seems as if i'm always at the gas tank filling up.
