I just got a single bottom plow. Only numbers I can find are on the mo-board NC-23-16-SC. The plow was taken apart and put back togather wrong. It has a hand lever to set how deep it go's. and and long rod turned into a ring, when you pull it it ingauges the left wheel (which is steel and has a wavy rim) a lever that causes the plow to rise if it is moving. How old is it? What model is it?

There's a few models it could be. The problem with going with the numbers off the mold board is that it was probably used on several models and has more than likely been changed at some point. If it is an Oliver plow, there should be part numbers on most cast iron pieces that start with EP. I can't tell you much more without seeing a picture of it.

I was digging through some old literature and I now believe you have an Oliver model 100 Plow Master plow. The piece of literature is from 1941. The plow would be in that era give or take a few years.

Mark, check out these pictures and see if they look like your plow. This one has rubber wheels though.

Chris, Thanks for the picture. The top of the plow looks the same the lever are the same. But mine is a one bottom plow and has no wheel or disk after the mole board. and the mechcanism to raise the plow down by the left wheel is inside a cast iron cover around the axle. And mine is very rusty not pretty like the one in the picture. It will be a little while before a can take a good picture of it to send you. The plow is at my cousins in OK. and I live in NC.

Mark,
The plow in the pictures has what is commonly reffered to as a 'rooster comb' lift. Sounds like yours has the clutch lift. I'll do some more digging and let you know what I find. If you could get a picture, that would help immensely.
