Try saying that three times fast. I was looking in my parts book and sorting out the hardware I need to put my parts back on my Super 55. I noticed there is a part 1E-849. It's brake pedal bumpers. Anyone still have these on there Super 55? What do they look like and where do they attach?

I'll check mine and get you some pictures if they are still there. Seems like they were when we restored it, but that was about 10 years ago.

I was in the barn that the Super 55 is in today, but didn't have the camera with me. The bumpers are rubber, about an inch or a little larger on the brake side, about 3/4 inch on the platform side and fit in a 1/2 inch or so hole that is in the platform support above each brake pedal. The brake pedal arms are held against these bumpers by the return springs when not depressed. I would say their main purpose was stop the noise of the pedal arm whacking the platform support.

I am missing one on my Super 55 , but the 550 still has both. I don't know of anybody making new ones. If anybody would know, I would think that Korves Brothers would.

I think I found a good replacement. I was winterizing my round baler today and noticed that the rubber bumpers on one of the doors looked exactly like the bumpers you are looking for on your Super 55. I didn't take one off to try, but just by eyeballing it, it looks identical.
It is a Gehl round baler and that part number you would be needing is 420-19509. you can find your closest Gehl dealer at www.gehl.com . If you want to wait, I'll take one off the baler and try it on my Super 55 to see if it is going to work. If it does, I'm going to order at least one to replace the missing one on my tractor.

Now that you have solved that problem, would you have any idea where to find a seat bumper for a 550.

Hey Chris, let me know if it is the same when you try it out. I think the closest dealer to me is in Alberta, so I want to make sure it's the right size.

I took one off the round baler today and put in the place of the missing one on my Super 55, I must say, it looks perfect! Here's a pic.

The red arrow is pointing to the bumper that I took off the round baler, and the other one is an original bumper. Looks so good, now I need to order a new bumper for the door on my baler.

R.B., I don't know of a source for that bumper, if it is the one that goes onder the seat, and not the suspension rubber. But maybe I'll get lucky like I did with this one.

Chris, I checked out O'Brien County and they have them for 49 cents. Thanks for the picture, I couldn't tell from the parts book what they looked like. Think i'll order a dozen, want some?Might as well it will cost me more to mail them then they are worth.

I need one, but I'll pick one up next time I have to get Gehl parts. I was wondering how much they would cost, thanks.
