I JUST STARTED MY NEXT PROJECT,AN 88 WITH NO SERIEL# TAG.THERE IS A # ON THE BLOCK 190120B-K100B,IS THERE ANY WAY TO VERIFY THE YEAR?

Right near those 2 sets of numbers, or over by the generator, there should be another set of numbers that are the casting date for the block. Also, look on the under side of the tranny, there should be a casting date there. Another spot is on the front main frame, right below where the carb is. This one can be hard to see with the engine in place. Somewhere on the top of the head under the valve cover, they would stamp the assembly date of the engine into one of the flat machined surfaces. It could also be under the thermostat housing.

I am just finishing restoring a 49 Oliver 77 row crop tractor. I got the decal kit from Dumont but I don't know where the saftey decal go. Any help. Also looking for a farmhand loader for that tractor. I believe the correct model for the 77 would be a Farnhand F-11.

If it is the decal I am thinking of, it goes on the top of the PTO safety sheild.
