My grandpa has a 1950T with front wheel assist and is trying to sell it. The drive shafts for the front axles are out and he does not know what it might be worth. The tractor runs good and has always been reliable but our operation has grown much smaller and we no longer need this tractor any info would be great. we also have a oliver 548 plow for sale. |

Where are you located? I would be interested in both items, so I don't feel it's right for me to tell you what they are worth. |

That's a little farther away than I want to go at this time. I saw a nice 1950-T FWA sell early this year, and it brought $4300. Several of us Oliver guys looked it over and couldn't find anything wrong with it. The drive shafts for those front axles are somewhere around $1600 per side last I knew, so you're looking at a chunk of money to repair them. It could still be used as a 2 wheel drive tractor, so I would place the value around $2500-$3000. |
