I was on the YT Mag forum and there was a fellow looking for a sleeve kit for an Oliver 60. Are they hard to find? I would of thought that there was enough of those 60s around to make parts easy to find. I did a search and found that Continental sells Waukesa engine parts, but I don't know if they sell them for the 60s. Anybody want to shed some light for me?

When we restored our 60 around 12 years ago, we could get everything we needed except new pistons and sleeves. We had the sleeves bored and used what the machine shop called a stock piston that had the right wrist pin diameter and height to the top of the piston. The machinist said that they were the hardest sleeves he had ever bored.
Last I knew, no one was making pistons and sleeves for the 60. This surprises me since they still seem to be quite a popular tractor and there's quite a few around yet. From what Brad posted at the YT forum, looks like Maibach's may have put something together.
