Hi Everyone, Drove it as a kid plowing snow and the usual gardening thing. Recently my Father passed away leaving me the property and a very old tired I think super 55. 1953 I was told but after some surfing I think it's a 1957. Had to hot wire it to move it, wiring shot, generator dead, no biggy. But!! Water pump leaks, pours, can you folks tell me where to find one. Or where I can have the old one rebuilt, the casting is ok. I live in Atlantic Canada. Not too many dark green beauties here. Also can you folks tell me what it's worth?? Thanks in advance. you can get a water pump from Korves Oliver at www.korvesoliver.com . They will want your old one to rebuild but will send you one that is already rebuilt. I don't know of any Canadian sources other than going to an AGCO dealer (you can find your closest one at www.agcocorp.com ) or an auto parts store in a rural area and they might be able to get you going. As to value, that can vary by area and will vary with condition. With what you have told me I would say it's worth around $1500 US. |
