I have a problem with my PTO snapping back out when I step on the foot clutch on my S55. Anyone know what could cause this? I was also stepping on my foot clutch and tried to re-engage the PTO, and I could feel the foot clutch pushing back. Wierd. |

The shaft that the foot pedal pivots on is the same one that the PTO clutch fork is mounted on. The clutch pedal is probably rusted to the shaft. There should be a grease zerk on the foot clutch pedal to lubricate this pivot point. You may have to take the foot pedal off to clean everything out and get the zerk to work properly, but that should fix the problem. |

Hot diggity! That was it. No grease zert, but I sprayed it with lube. Works good. Thanks! |
