the radiator in my 77 is pretty bad. where is the best place to get a new or good used radiator? mine has the gas cap and not a radiator cap, how does the non pressure system work? Thx |

Take it to a local radiator shop and have them check it out. If the tanks are still good, they should be able to re-core it. I don't know of a source of new radiators for the 77 and buying used could be as bad as what you already have. The non-pressure system works essentially the same as a pressurized system. The advantage of the pressurized system is the pressure raises the boiling point of the coolant by a few degrees. |

If you're still looking for a radiator . . . One of my suppliers has informed me that around June or July 2003 we should have new ones available for (maybe) around the $ 250.00 range ?

I probably found the same source you are refering too, the price should be that or better.. I offered to buy the prototype, but they wouldn't budge... so its out for a recore.. |
