I have a 1650 and wondering if i can cut off the wire's for the hydro-electric's because i'm not using them any more if it will still work ok. Also i put a narrow front on it and now when i start it the wheel wants to turn sharply to the left, only when you start it. Thanks for any help.

The hydraulics will work fine without the wires hooked up. There is a fuse in the dash for the hyrda-lectric, I believe it is the center one, that ought to be taken out to prevent a short. The other 2 fuses are for lights and for the gauges, so the one that is left would be the hydra-lectric fuse.

It could be air still in the steering system, but other than that it might be a sticking valve inside the steering hydra-motor. Parts (other than the seals) are not available for the Saginaw steering hydra-motor, so unless it really bugs you, I wouldn't tear into that hydra-motor.
