I have a 1650 and wondering if i can cut off the wire's for the hydro-electric's because i'm not using them any more if it will still work ok. Also i put a narrow front on it and now when i start it the wheel wants to turn sharply to the left, only when you start it. Thanks for any help. |

The hydraulics will work fine without the wires hooked up. There is a fuse in the dash for the hyrda-lectric, I believe it is the center one, that ought to be taken out to prevent a short. The other 2 fuses are for lights and for the gauges, so the one that is left would be the hydra-lectric fuse. It could be air still in the steering system, but other than that it might be a sticking valve inside the steering hydra-motor. Parts (other than the seals) are not available for the Saginaw steering hydra-motor, so unless it really bugs you, I wouldn't tear into that hydra-motor. |
