After working on it a little here, and a little there, the somewhat disassembled 2050 FWA that I bought 2 years ago fired right up and came to life. It runs great, which makes me happy since I bought it in non-running condition. It needs just a little electrical work and then it goes out for a good power washing. Then I'll take some pictures and show it off.
I like that deep sound that the naturally aspirated Herc puts out. I'm looking forward to putting her to work.

Sounds good. I work a very little here and a very little there, but that's just how I have had to prioritize. Spent the night at school dong an all-nighter with about 50 kids. They do a 30 fast to show awareness for world hunger. Those kids are like the energizer bunnies. They had me up until 5 this morning, that's the time I usually get up. But I'm loading up my rims to get new tires in a minute.

Ha!! You want to talk weather. We have had about 3 inches of rain in the last couple of days, the ground had froze over last night and tomorrow they are calling for 6-8 inches of the white stuff. Looks like the 1650 FWA will get to play in the snow tomorrow. If it's deep enough, maybe the 2050 FWA will get it's first workout on the snowblower.

Try to stop by when the ground is drier and we will take them out to play.

I used it to spread manure for the last 2 days and it ran great. Even with a muffler, that deep roar can be heard for quite a distance.
