Could you get an 880 with a fiberglass grille in the later years or get a replacement grille like with the 550? I don't think I've ever seen one that I can remember. | ||

To the best of my knowledge, the 880 never had the fibergalss grille or the flat top fenders. The last 880 was produced in 1963. By this time the 1600 was in full production and it therefore replaced the 880. It was at this time that the grilles on the 550 and 770 were changed to match the rest of the line up. The 770 was discontinued in 1967. The 1550 and the Fiat built Olivers filled any gap that was left by the 770. |
