My grandpa worked on Oliver Tractors in the 1950s or so. I want to paint a mural with a tractor that he may have worked on. He was very proud of his work and would always look for his "mark" when there were tractors we passed in Iowa. Anyone can give me a connection to a picture of the model he might have worked on?

Terri, there are a lot of Olivers from the '50s , but some of the more common would be 66,77, 88, 99, Super 55, Super 66, Super 77, Super 88, Super 44, Super 99, and the late '50s started the production of the 550, 660, 770, 880, 950,990, 995. I would think one of the most representative of the era would be the 66, 77, 88 tractors. You can find pics on this site (click on photos at the left column) or www.ytmag.com and there are several private owners with webpages that can help you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me this information. I checked out the site and have downloaded a couple of pics to help me with my painting.

My grandpa would have loved this site - if he would have wanted to touch a computer!!!

Best wishes to you all!!
