Did the 1755's have fuel tank fenders as an option? Also, are they difficult to install? |

Yes they did. They are very easy to install. Just un-bolt the regular fenders at the axle, and then bolt fender tanks on where the old ones were. Depending on tire size you may need a spacer under each tank to lift them up to clear the top of the tire. After that, just run a fuel line from each tank to a T fitting and then run that to the fitting at the top front of the main tank. Put a non-vented cap on the main tank and vented caps on the fender tanks, and the fender tanks will empty first, followed by the main tank. This way you can still look at the fuel gauge to know if you are low on fuel. |

Any idea where I might find some? What's a good price to pay? |

I know of a guy here in Michigan that has a couple of extra ones he is looking to sell. I'll email you about them. If I remember correctly, I paid $200 for the pair of fender tanks I bought for my 2255, and they are in good shape.
