I'm not sure since I just upgraded the board. I'll try it.

Ok, doing it that way opens the picture in a new window. If you want the image to show up in the post do it this way.
At the point where you want the image put in type

\image{you can put whatever you want here to describe the picture}

What you put between the brackets doesn't matter, but the rest of it must be exactly as above.

You'll then have to choose and upload a picture. If everything was entered correctly, it will "show your photo here" when you preview, and then when you click on post it will ask you to find the image on your computer. Click the browse button to do this. Choose the image and then click on upload. It will automatically take you to the post when the image is done uploading. It can take a minute or 2 to upload a picture depending on your connection to the internet, but it will look like nothing much is going on until it takes you back to the post.

For more info on how to customize your posts, click on help at the top of this page and then click on formatting.

Here is a nice sample image. It was sent to me by a gentleman I met out in Iowa. He just got it home from the great white north. (We're poachin' in your territory, but actually this tractor was much closer to Grant.)

My thanks go out to Dean Barker for sending me pictures of his 'new' tractor and letting me post them here. It looks great!

ATM, that is one nice looking 550. Excellent attention to the details.

John, that 1655 pictured above has an aftermarket cab of some kind. Dean says it is coming off when the weather warms up. I'm keeping my eyes open for that 1650/55 FWA for you.

HI Chris The Cockshutt 550 is not mine I was just following your directions on posting photos and wanted to see if I was doing it right. I thought it would let you preview it before posting it but I guess not. Thought Grant would like this photo it is a very beautiful restoration.

As long as we are at it, here is a picture of Leo's 1655 FWA that he got recently.

That is a dandy 550 . Same as my dad has had since 1962 only ours has a yellow seat rather than red. He has told me that whenever I want it to get at it as at 84 he's done using it [no power steering!] Ours is diesel with a 59A loader not too bad of shape other than wear and tear. Still has one original back tire, second clutch and did the injector pump once. Hydraulic pump went out under warrenty but engine never opened up. Have no idea how many hours as tach died years ago but was the big tractor [with a 60 row crop] till 1971 so lots and lots!
