all lines and filters and fuel cooler is dry on my 1950gm can i put a small amount of air in tank and push it by the fuel pump and to the last fitting before it goes in motor to get all air out or is there a better way, thanks john |

I have used this method before. It doesn't take alot of air, just a little time for the fuel to work its way through. I used a shop rag around the air gun to keep the air from all blowing out. Another way is to fill the tank full and the weight of the fuel should push it through, if there is a place for the air to get out. I haven't had to bleed out a GM engine before, so I may be missing something. I don't think the 1950 had a hand primer though. If anybody else has any suggestions, let us know. |
