That serial number is not in my book, but I would say from the serial number, it is a model 26 grain drill. Here is a scan of the literature for it from 1948. It is a little rough, but the important parts are good.
Here's the cover.

Hopefully you will be able to read the information on it.

I have a couple more questions... Do you know what years that those drills were made? and Do you know where I can find some paint codes for the drill? There are so many shades of oliver green, I want to get it original.

Thanks

Jeff

I don't have any info on the years that this model was made, but this piece of literature was printed in 1948, so I would say it's safe to say they were made around that time.
You can find paint codes at http://www.oliverinformation.com . I am going to assume that the implements used the same colors as the tractors did in the same year. The red and the yellow didn't seem to change much, but the green did a few times. If it were mine, I would use the shade of green that the early Fleetline series (1947-1951) tractors were painted.

I just checked the book "Oliver Hart Parr" by C.H. Wendel, and it mentions the model 26 being built from the early 1930's up into the 1950's. If it has a factory hydraulic lift, it is a late one. According to this book, the hydraulic lift option wasn't offered until the 1950's.

With this information, I would paint it to match the tractor I planned on displaying it with. Of course, that tractor would be an Oliver, right???

Yes, I have an Oliver 77 Diesel Row Crop tractor that belonged to my Great Grandfather. My Father and I restored it a few years back, I am planning on displaying it with that. Thanks again
