Super 55

I have seen some postings about what lubrication to use in the final drive on the Super 55. The manual calls for a 10W-30 engine oil with the Oliver 102 082-A additive as opposed to using a 90 or 140 weight transmission oil. The manual states that these are too thick and don't circulate properly. I just installed new bearings and seals in my Super 55 and want to know which oil to use. Thanks for any information. |

Click on keyword search to the left and then search for super 55 lube and you should find a discussion about the same with a chart that White put out in the 80's showing recommended fluids and capacities. I also added this photo to the photo album under the service manuals section. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. |
