Super 55

I have seen some postings about what lubrication to use in the final drive on the Super 55. The manual calls for a 10W-30 engine oil with the Oliver 102 082-A additive as opposed to using a 90 or 140 weight transmission oil. The manual states that these are too thick and don't circulate properly. I just installed new bearings and seals in my Super 55 and want to know which oil to use. Thanks for any information.

Click on keyword search to the left and then search for super 55 lube and you should find a discussion about the same with a chart that White put out in the 80's showing recommended fluids and capacities. I also added this photo to the photo album under the service manuals section.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
