I am a City Slicker that has bought a big farm and am needing a tractor. A guy that works for me has a 67 Oliver, Model 1750 with only 2,100 hours on it. Says it runs perfect. My purpose is brush hogging and putting in food plots as we are big hunters. Not really familiar with Oliver tractors. Was looking at new ones but for the price I figured this is worth the gamble. Can you tell me if this is a good model, and anything good or bad about Oliver tractors in general? |

We have a 1750 diesel here on our farm, and I think it is great. With that low of hours, you should be getting a good tractor. As far as parts go, pretty much anything you would need for the 1750 is still available from your local AGCO dealer. The biggest downside I can see to the 1750 is some of the engine parts can be pricey. Take good care of it and it will take good care of you, in my opinion. |
