Well I just got back from Cedar Falls and thought I would post that even though this was my first national show and I dont have any other to compare it to, I thought this show was excellent!!

The variety and quality of tractors and machinery was great. Some of those paint jobs were spectacular. I especially liked the plowing demonstration. It was great seeing an 80, 90, 77, OC-6, and a couple others out there turning the soil.

Did anyone else see the 2255 pull on Saturday? I got it on video tape and still get goose bumps watching that monster barrel down the track.

Chris, I stopped by the Oliver Gang booth to compliment you on a great web site but you were out, so I thought I would do it here. Keep up the great work.

Well, heres to a great show!!

PS
Next year the Albert City Threshermans (NW Iowa)show is featuring Olivers. Hope to see some of the same tractors and people there.

Thanks for the compliment. The web site has been a labor of love for me, and it makes it a little more worth while to know it is appreciated.

Sorry I missed you. I have met a few people at shows that I originally met here on the internet. It's neat to be able to put a face with a name.

I saw the plowing and other demonstrations too. I even got to have some Oliver made ice cream from the gentleman that made a PTO powered ice cream maker for his 550. I didn't catch his name, but he was handing out free samples. My thanks go out to him. I saw the 2255 pull too. My camera battery was pretty much dead, but I was able to coax 2 pictures out of it while the 2255 pulled. They didn't have near enough sled to hold that monster back!!!

I think my favorite of the show goes to the 1950 FWA with the Terra tires.

I took over 350 pictures at the show and plan on posting some of them as soon as I get a chance. I am currently re-working the photo section of this site, so keep watching for some changes there.
