What were the years that Oliver's were manufactured? I had heard that they were not manufactured after '61". |

The last year that a production tractor rolled off the line with the name Oliver on it was 1976. It was a 2255 that was destined for export. The first tractor to bear the name Oliver was a prototype that the Oliver Chilled Plow Works was about to put into production, before they merged with Hart-Parr(among others). This was in the late 20's, with the merger happening in 1929. After the merger, the Oliver name was added to the tractors and the Hart-Parr name was slowly phased out. To the best of my knowledge, only one of the 'Chilled Plow' Oliver tractors is know to exist today. |

I recently purchased a two row Oliver corn picker, model 83. Where can I get an operator's manual or any other information? |

Go to the links page on this site and click on the link for the Floyd County Museum. They should have the manuals you are looking for. |

Jerry, I learned at the HPOCA show that there were only 100 2255's made in that production run in 1976. |
