I am currently restoring an Oliver 60 Row Crop with a Hart-Parr engine. I would like to know the original wheel size of the Oliver 60? I would really appreciate a response. Thanks Brady, Illinois |

There were quite a few sizes available for the 60. But I don't have the info on that here right now. I'll do some checking, but I'm willing to bet that regular viewer, seldom poster BA Star could give you the answer off the top of his head. Also, the engine was an Oliver-Waukesha. |

I haven't been able to find any infomation on the tire sizes that were options for the 60. I'll keep looking.... My 60 has 9.5-36's on the rear. |

I think 9.5-36's were the standard size for the 60. Thats what mine has on it as well. I bought them about 7 or 8 years ago and I believe they came from Poland. |

Chris and Eric, I am the one who is restoring the Oliver 60 and wanting the original wheel size. The wheels on there now are 9.5-32's and I wondered if they were a little smaller than the original. I am the only one I know of around Jerseyville IL that has a 60 so I'm just looking for some help. Thanks |

I have heard of sizes all the way down to 28 inch rims. I can't guarantee that 9.5-32 was an original size, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least. I have heard 9.5-32' are hard to find a good replacement for. Have you looked for any yet? |

The model 60 Row Crop was factory equiped with 7x36, 8x36, 9.5x32 or 11x28. All three of my Row Crops have the 9.5x32 tires. They are available through any good Ag Tire dealer. Plan to bring the 60 Cockshutt to Cedar Falls. |

Eric, Chris, or anybody who can help! This is Brady again. Thanks for all the help with the original wheel size. It has been so long since I have gotten back on. I now have a new problem. While I have an Oiver 60 with one good 9.5-32 rim, I was told by two machine shops that my rusted rim couldn't be fixed because they couldn't get the radius back. I have asked around my area and called 1-800 numbers all over Illinois but have had no luck. I am willing to travel if anyone would happen to have or know of someone that would have a 9.5-32 spare rim or I would even be interested in two rims of a different size. I really would like to get this done before winter. Any help would be appreciated. Brady, Illinois |

Brady, try Miller tire. They have replacement blank rims listed in the size you would need. You just remove the center from the old wheel and weld it into the new rim. Their web site is http://www.millertire.com/ . Go there and click on rear tractor under the wheels and rims section. |
