I am putting new rear axle bearings and seals. I am adjusting the preload, but fear I may need more shims. AGCO has them for $26US EACH!!!. If anybody has done this adjustment, where did you get your shims? Any help or advice woudl be appreciated.

What about ones from a parted out tractor? $26 each is way to steep for shims.
My only other suggestion is to get some shim stock and some tin snips and make your own. You should be able to get shim stock at a good auto supply store or at a machinist/tool supply store.
