I was thinking of heading down to the National show in Cedar Falls Iowa. What can I expect to see? How many tractors show up for these shows and are there lots of rare Olivers and a good swap meet? |

You can expect to see a sea of meadow green!! I think 300 to 500 Olivers is a fairly accurate guess. Last year at Plain City Ohio they had over 500 Oliver tractors and over 700 total regitered Oliver items on display. Granted, that part of Ohio is Oliver country, but so is Iowa. If you go you'll see more Oliver models than you ever knew existed. I saw more high crop Olivers at last years show than I thought would still exist. I took over 300 pictures at that show and still wish I could have taken more. (Thank goodness for that digital camera!!) Plus most every vendor that sells Oliver parts will be there. Bring a truck, because you'll need the room. All in all, if you are an Oliver fan, you won't regret making the trip. Just be sure to get a hotel room soon, because they are usually gone by the time the show arrives. |

Sounds good. I am pretty sure I am going to go and do like you did. Take lots of pictures. |
