I hope someoe can help me with my question. My sister and I gave our dad a cast iron riding seat with the Oliver Chilled Plow letters cut out of it for fathers day. We were wondering if anyone knew what the original color of the seat was from the factory? My dad said he thought it was red but he was not sure. Thanks for your help. | ||

Red was the first color for the Oliver Plow. Later on, they became green. I have seen seats painted either color, plus some black ones. I don't know for sure, but my guess is it depends on when the plow and its seat were made. Anybody else have an idea? |
