I will soon be owning my first Oliver tractor. I have always wanted one! It is a 1650D from my father-in-law. I would like to know as much as possible about the tractor as possible. In particular, how much does it weigh? It does not have a cab. I need to find a way to transport it home and not sure my trailer is heavy enough to do the job.

Thanks for all your help.

Without looking at a book, I would have to say they weigh in at about 8000 lbs. If the tires are loaded, and there are lots of weights added to it, it might be up around 10,000 lbs.

I'll see if I can find some more accurate info for you.

My uncle in Missouri currently owns several older tractors,John Deer,Oliver,Farmall,Massey Ferguson. My
question,Is there some value historical or monetary? We will be involved in probate court soon as this was my grandfather's farm 240 acres south of Kansas City. I drove and used several of these tractors as a young man (I am fifty years old ) Hate to see them go to the scrap heap.Michael

The answer is yes to both questions. The better shape they are in, the more they are worth. There aren't very many tractors in running condition that are worth less than $1000. Your best bet is to find a local auctioneer that specializes in farm auctions. They should be able to come out and appraise the tractors for a reasonable fee.
