I have an 1850D, not sure which engine. This model has the 3 spd. hydra shift. The fuel injection pump is mounted vertically on the left side of the engine. The external oil cooler has been disconnected. I'm getting oil in the coolant and was wondering is anyone knows of this problem and a fix. Any information would help. Thanks. |

Sorry it has taken so long to reply, been busy farming. If it isn't the oil cooler then it almost has to be the head gasket. It would have to be at a point where the oil pressure is greater than the coolant pressure. Is all of the oil out of the cooling system? We rebuilt an 1800 diesel (different engine) that had gotten oil in the cooling system. It took several flushes to get the majority of it out there. |
