I am interested in large cockshutt tractors, but am unable to find any for sale. Am I able to convert a large Oliver to a cockshutt? What would need to be changed? Or if you know of any cockshutts for sale? |

The only differences were cosmetic. Just paint and decals. Although most Cockshutts were wheatland tractors, i.e. no 3 point hitch and fixed wheel tread widths. But after a red paint job and a set of decals, the serial number tag would be the only true giveaway. Of course, Canada is the best place to look for Cockshutts. Go to our links page and at the link for the Ag Dealer, enter cockshutt into the search box and hit enter. I came up with 51 matches, but not all of them were tractors. The biggest I saw was an 1850, but there were 1600's, 1650's and a 1655 among others. Also try AGCO's machine locator at http://machinelocator.com/ and search for cockshutt. Not nearly as many there, but worth a look. |
