I am trying to gather some photos or links to any information pertaining to a model 44. My father has recently expressed some interest in them. Currently he owns a 1945 case--not sure which model but he wants to expand his interests. Thanks |

There was no model '44'. There was the model 'Super 44' and the model '440'. The Super 44 and 440 are pretty much the same tractor with only a few minor differences. You can find examples of both the Super 44 and the 440 on our Photo section on this web site. Click on the link to the Oliver Gang Summer Show 2001 to see these pictures. There is also a picture of a 440 on the page titled HPOCA Winter get-together 2001 in Auburn, Indiana. Here is a picture of the front cover of the 440 literature. and here is the back cover with the specifications for the tractor on it. If you plan on buying one, plan on getting your checkbook out. Ones in average condition bring around $5000, and restored ones bring upwards of $10,000. |
