About 1 1/2 years ago my dad passed away. My mom is still on the farm. We have 3 Olivers that we have thought about selling. A 1955 88 diesel, 1958 880 diesel, and a 1952 77 gas. We have had a collector contact us about selling but have know idea what there value is. All are running but need some attention. These are tractors that were used on the farm. All have good rubber. The 77 has damage to tin on the front, and needs work on the front end. The 88, and 880 have good tin. They all have wide fronts. Any help on price would be of great help. Thanks |

It's hard to say what a tractor is worth without seeing it. What I can give you is some links to oliver items for sale and you can see what other people are asking for theirs. First is AGCO. You can search AGCO dealer inventories by searching their machine locator. Next is the Ag Dealer. You can find links to both of these sites on the links page of this site. Next one I would recommend is http://www.ytmag.com/cgi-bin/clasquery.pl?Parameter=oliver This is the classifieds at Yesterday's Tractors web site. Also check out http://www.tractorshed.com/cgi-bin/photoads/classifieds.cgi This Yesterdays Tractors photo ads section. Also, check out eBay. http://www.ebay.com In the search box enter 'oliver tractor' and hit enter. When the next list comes up, click on 'highest priced' and this will bring all of the tractors to the top since they are highest priced. Be sure to click on 'Completed Items' in the menu on the left side of the eBay page to see what oliver tractors have been selling for in past auctions. I hope this helps. |
