There doesn't seem to be much information on Oliver walking plows on the internet. You might try some of the other Oliver pages on our links page. What kind of information are you looking for? |

i guess about the years and if there worth anything. i am just starting getting into oliver stuff. i have a wf 60 row crop i am starting to restore. i just like olivers |

James Oliver patented his Chilled Plow in 1855 and the Oliver company made horse-drawn equipment into the 1930's. So as far as years, your looking at 70+ years that a walking plow could have been made in. They are all worth someting. I would say an average price for a restored walking plow would be around $200. The older and more original they are, the mor eI would think they would be worth. Most of the records from the days of the walking plow are long gone. Finding an exact year of your plows would be nearly impossible. |

I have a Book of Oliver Volume Three dated 1937. At that time it showed the 40 was available as a left hand the 98 and 82 were not. I can not find a listing of the other two. |
