Once again, another Spring Fling is behind us. It was a beautiful day, and the Cleavers were wonderful hosts. Thank you very much Gary and Sue for opening up your home to us. An election was held to elect directors according to the new by-laws. A link to the by-laws can be found on the home page of this site. We elected nine new directors. Normally, a director's seat is for three years. In order to get the terms staggered so we are electing three new directors each year, we had to give 3 directors 3 year terms, 3 directors 2 year terms and 3 directors one year terms. To decide who got which length term, we decided to give the 3 year terms to the directors receiving the most votes and on down. In all future elections, all director's positions will be for 3 years. The results of this election were: 3 year terms: Barb Brown, Bill Gamble and Larry Widner. 2 year terms: John Faust, Chris Losey and Mike Hodupp. 1 year terms: Bob Schaeffer, Elton Snyder and Gary Parker. After the general meeting, the directors had a meeting to elect the offices and committees that each director would hold. These offices and committee postions are decided on each year.
